The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation offers many direct services to elders in Brevard County. Call the Foundation today to see how we can help.

Adult Day Care

beach

The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation proudly supports Joe’s Club Adult Day Care where your elder is in a safe place while the caregiver gets a needed break.

Emergency Energy Assistance

The Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program for the Elderly (EHEAP) is a 100% federally funded program that helps eligible seniors pay energy bills in an emergency. In partnership with the Department of Elder Affairs and Senior Resource Alliance, the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation assists EHEAP-eligible residents, who can receive up to $2,000 for multiple energy bills while funds are available.

Medical Equipment Lending

Equipment

The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation Health Equipment Lending Program makes a wide variety of health and mobility equipment available to the community through free, no-time-limit loans of donated equipment.

In-Home Respite

Happy we are here

The Project RELIEF Program offers family members and loved ones a much needed break. If you need one hour or many, the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation has a solution. Project RELIEF is a state-supported program giving up to a four-hour break.

Senior Transportation

Our fleet of 14 vehicles includes extended passenger vans, small buses, and minivans to safely transport participants to and from their homes to Joe’s Club, and also for qualifying life-sustaining appointments.

Food/Meal Assistance

The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation is working with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida delivering boxes of food to our neediest seniors in Brevard County. The boxes are safely delivered to seniors bi-weekly with a combination of produce, perishable and frozen foods.

Education and Support Groups

Birthdays are special around here

Each month, the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation hosts and supports dementia-related support groups.
