Alzheimers/Dementia Facebook Groups

Alzheimer’s awareness
Alzheimer’s Awareness is for those who are family and friend caregivers (rather than professionals), past present or future, to those that suffer from Alzheimer’s. It is also available to those who provide support to the private caregivers of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Early-onset Alzheimer’s support group
A place for caregivers of any age to vent, give each other hope, ask questions, and be there for each other. A place for those who have the disease to get support and to teach others about the feelings and the things they experience. Anyone who is impacted as a patient, caregiver, or even an Advocate is welcome here!

Dementia caregiver support group
I am a primary caregiver for my mother-in-law with dementia. She has lived with us for 10 years now. After 10 years in our home, she doesn’t know how to get to the bathroom or where she sleeps at night. She still thinks she is visiting. Any form of dementia is devastating to the dementia patient as well as family members. It’s a huge health crisis in our country. Those affected by it are only growing in numbers. So I started this group for dementia caregivers and anyone else interested in this topic. I hope that members can support each other by posting caregiving suggestions, ways to de-stress, new discoveries in regard to dementia treatment/prevention and just simply overall encouragement and guidance to members!

Christian Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support
This group was established to provide support, information, and direction to those who know people who are suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia, which Is often tied to Alzheimer’s. If you are a caretaker or know of someone who is experiencing these set backs in life, please join this group and share your experiences. Through prayer and with the help of our mighty God through His son Jesus’ name — this too shall pass.

Alzheimer’s support group for family, friends, and caregivers
I have set up this group for people who have been affected by Alzheimer’s, whether it is a family member, friend, or maybe you are yourself a caregiver. A group where you can share your thoughts with other people, or even just to be able to talk to someone.

Alzheimer’s spouse journal and support group
If your spouse or partner has Alzheimer’s or dementia, this is the place for you. We are all here to support and encourage each other. This would not be the best fit for you if you are caring for a mother, father, sibling or other person with Alzheimer’s or dementia who is not a spouse or partner.

Alzheimer Xplained – USA
This community has been created because we understand a diagnosis can often leave people feeling alone and sometimes confused. In this community you can ask questions, be heard, be informed and be encouraged. By joining the community and meeting others who also have Alzheimer’s, we want to create a place of support and positivity, where you can come to connect with people who just “get it.”

Dementia/Alzheimer’s pre-diagnosis/early/mid stage caregivers support

Support for vascular, Alzheimer’s and mixed dementia
If you or someone you know has dementia, then this is the right group for you. It’s important for you to know that this friendly group has been set up as way of supporting those with dementia and their caregivers, where people can seek advice from others and share things which may be of use to people going through a similarly difficult time in their lives.

Dementia Aware
As the name of the group suggests. We are here to help spread awareness and share our problems. Whether you or your family or friends have a form of dementia, if you are a caregiver looking after anyone with a form of dementia, or if you just want to know more about it, then this is the group for you.

Early Onset Alzheimer’s Florida Gulf Coast Support Group
This group was created as a safe place to share information for people who have been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s or dementia. The focus of this group is on the person who has the disease, not caregiving (although that can be discussed). However, anyone with ALZ/dementia is welcome.
